Introduction

Founded in 1997, IPEL has become one of the most important Greek firms in the field of energy (lignite and natural gas) and electrical energy distribution systems. IPEL’s name is well known all over Greece as an innovator not only for the technology that the company represents but also for the engineering, project management, commissioning and maintenance of complex energy projects. IPEL has waste treatment facilities in Chalkida, Evia.

The role in NEXT-GTL

IPEL will be mainly involved in Task 1.4 in the development on a lab-scale and later scale-up/testing of the materials for CO₂ separation (advanced zeolite based materials).
